The Big Bounder 1000 is a heavy-duty power wheelchair engineered for bariatric users weighing up to 450 kg. Its reinforced rear-wheel drive platform offers exceptional stability across a variety of terrains—yet unlike many traditional rear-wheel drive chairs, it delivers smooth, predictable handling without excessive turning arcs or fishtailing. This makes it equally capable in both indoor spaces and outdoor environments. Built for customisation, it accommodates seat widths from 26" to 36" (66 cm to 91 cm) and depths from 16" to 22" (41 cm to 56 cm), with additional bespoke sizing available for a perfect fit. Powered by Super Torque 4S motors with integrated brakes, the Big Bounder 1000 delivers consistent, high-performance drive. The Independent Drive Wheel Suspension (IDWS) improves ride comfort and traction, while its TIG-welded steel H-style frame ensures long-term strength and resilience. A sliding dual Group 24 battery box extends range and simplifies servicing, and heavy-duty caster fork springs provide additional stability. For advanced positioning, the Big Bounder 1000 offers power seating options—tilt, recline, and anterior tilt—operated by joystick, push button, or toggle switch. The black powder-coated finish adds durability and a refined appearance, while every chair is custom-built to maximise seat width without compromising home accessibility.
