From the manufacturer

**Automatic speed reduction on bends.** The electronics cut speed as the scooter turns, without the user doing anything. This matters more than it sounds. Tip-overs on turns are one of the main injury mechanisms with mobility scooters — a user takes a corner at full speed, the centre of mass shifts outward, and a three or four-wheel scooter with a narrow track goes over. Automatic reduction removes the need for the user to judge and moderate speed themselves, which is exactly the judgement that fails with fatigue, distraction, or cognitive change. **Specify this feature deliberately for a client whose speed judgement or reaction time is variable.** It is doing active risk management rather than adding convenience. **Separate hand brake** for immediate braking, on top of the standard regenerative braking. A second, independent braking method is worth having where reaction time is slow or grip is unreliable. **Two-step disengaging lever.** Freewheel mode disables the electromagnetic brake, so a scooter knocked into freewheel on a slope can run away with the user on it. A two-step lever cannot be triggered accidentally. **Brake light**, which stops people walking into the back of the scooter as it slows — a common and avoidable collision in a busy shopping centre. **Suspension** across the whole unit, aimed at varied everyday surfaces. Vibration exposure, not seating alone, is often what limits how long a user can tolerate being out. **Ergonomic steering with lever-adjustable tiller.** Tiller angle should be set so the shoulders stay relaxed — too far forward forces sustained shoulder flexion, which becomes painful over distance. Electronics and motor are protected against corrosion and water ingress.
