The 745 Plus is the higher-capacity version of the Eco 745 platform and shares its control layout, which contains several features that matter for clients with reduced hand function. The loop handlebars can be operated with either the fingers or the thumb, so a client who cannot sustain a thumb-lever throttle — because of arthritis, reduced grip strength or limited thumb opposition — can still drive the scooter comfortably. The steering tiller adjusts infinitely rather than in fixed steps, which allows the reach distance to be set to the client's shoulder range rather than approximated. A half-speed switch is fitted, useful where reaction time, coordination or confidence limits safe operation at full speed, and useful again for indoor or shopping-centre use. The seat has slide and swivel mechanisms with simple operation, which is what allows a lateral transfer on and off the scooter without the client having to step around the tiller. The charger socket is high-mounted so charging does not require bending to floor level — a small detail that determines whether the client can manage the equipment independently. Lighting is comprehensive: adjustable LED headlight, indicators, rear tail lights and a reverse warning.
We aim to make our range as accessible as possible. Some products may not be available in all areas — please contact BMS Plus to confirm availability and discuss suitable options.
