**Grade 304 stainless steel with heavy-wall tubing.** This is the specification to check on any wet-area chair. Standard steel and thin-wall tube corrode where the frame is repeatedly wet and detergent-cleaned, and corrosion at a weld on a weight-bearing frame is a failure risk rather than a cosmetic one. 304 stainless is the grade that survives daily shower use. Designed so hygiene can actually be performed while the client stays seated: - **Clear rear open space** for positioning over the toilet - **Open armrest design** giving access from the side - **Deeper front trough** so the perineal area can be reached and cleaned The **pan carrier glides out and is self-supporting halfway**, so the carer can remove the bowl without stooping and taking its full weight at arm's length. Emptying a commode pan is a repeated daily task and a common source of carer back strain — this addresses it directly. **Seat removes without tools** via a clip system, which is what makes thorough cleaning practical rather than theoretical. Reinforced seat, back frame and armrests are all weight-bearing, so the client can safely push through the arms when standing. Transport wheels are interchangeable front to back so the chair can be pulled rather than pushed where the bathroom layout requires it.
