The Dualer is a dual-directional powerchair fitted with an elevating seat, and both of those features address specific access problems rather than being general comfort additions. The elevating seat raises the client through the working range, which supports reach to bench height and cupboards, brings them to eye level for conversation, and can reduce the vertical component of a transfer. Where a funding submission is being built around kitchen access, workplace participation or reduced carer assistance at transfers, seat elevation is usually the feature doing the clinical work and is worth naming explicitly. The dual-directional drive allows the chair to be driven from either orientation, which is relevant in environments where there is genuinely no room to turn — narrow corridors, small bathrooms, tight vehicle access.
