The heavy-duty **passive** lift in the Oxford range, and the one to reach for when either the load or the lifting range defeats a standard hoist. Safe working load 227 kg (35 st / 500 lb). **Lifting range 440–1910 mm** — that is the specification that actually distinguishes it. The 440 mm bottom end means it reaches a person on the floor after a fall; the 1910 mm top end means it can transfer to a high-level surface such as a raised bed or plinth. Most mobile hoists manage one end of that range or the other, not both. **Sling compatibility is a real decision point.** It ships with a 6-point spreader bar for loop-style slings, interchangeable with either a manual or a powered 4-point positioning cradle for clip-style slings. Check which sling system the client or facility already runs before ordering — mixing loop and clip systems across a service is a recurring and avoidable problem. Powered leg positioning opens and closes the base under power rather than by foot pedal, so a carer can widen the legs around a chair or commode without letting go of the client. A low-leg model is available for use under low bed frames, which is worth specifying up front rather than discovering on delivery that the legs will not pass beneath the bed. Smart Monitor diagnostic and service controls are standard. A digital weigh-scale is optional — useful where the client's weight needs monitoring and getting them onto scales is not practical.
