Weight rated to 200 kg.** Both figures separate this from the Lo Lo models, and the difference decides suitability: - **380 mm is not a floor-level bed.** The Lo Lo and ErgoAdjust Lo Lo drop to 230 mm. If the clinical goal is reducing fall injury for someone who mobilises unpredictably at night, this bed does not deliver that and one of the Lo Lo models should be specified instead - **200 kg rating**, against 300 kg on the Lo Lo models Where 380 mm is fine — most home users who transfer reliably — this is the better-appointed bed. **Automatic head-tilt.** Head tilt raises the head section alone without elevating the trunk, which is a different position from back raise and better for reading, watching television, or easing reflux without forcing hip flexion. **Trendelenburg positioning** is included. Head-down tilt assists venous return and lets a carer reposition someone who has slipped toward the foot of the bed using gravity instead of a drag lift. It is contraindicated where raised intracranial pressure is a concern and can worsen respiratory effort — prescribe it rather than leaving it as an available button. **Hi-Lo** across the full 380–670 mm range: low for safer entry and exit, high for carer working height without stooping. USB charging ports and under-bed lighting. The under-bed light matters more than it sounds — night-time transfers are when falls cluster, and a floor-level glow avoids the disorientation of a bright overhead lamp.
