The Zone frame is 7000-series aerospace aluminium put through Sunrise's ShapeLoc heat-treatment process, which raises strength enough to allow thinner tube walls; Sunrise positions the result as lighter and lower cost than a titanium equivalent of the same strength. Total weight is 6.5 kg in a 10" × 10" configuration. Growth is 3" of seat depth built into the frame plus a further 2" in the sling upholstery, and frame width is increased by replacing individual parts rather than the whole frame — which matters where funding will not stretch to a second chair mid-growth. A free growth kit is included. The rear wheel position is set to give the greatest possible handrim access for self-propulsion. Seat width 8–16" (20–40.5 cm), seat depth 8–18" (20–46 cm), front seat height 14–19" (35.5–48 cm), rear seat height 13–19" (33–48 cm), backrest height 6–18" (15–46 cm), overall width 20–24" (51–61 cm), frame angle 80°.
