The patented XLOCK folding crossbrace locks fully when unfolded, so the chair propels with the rigidity and efficiency of a rigid frame while still folding for transport. Folding and unfolding are one-step, one-handed — push to lock, pull to fold. Growth is built in at 2" in the crossbrace and 3" in the seat rail, and the rear wheel position can be fine-tuned so the child keeps optimal access to the handrims as they change. The Z-finity system adjusts the footplate anywhere from 0.5" above the seat pan to 21" below it, and its rotating hardware allows infinite adjustment of footrest angle and placement for positioning of feet, ankles and knees. Z-finity works with both front frame options: swing-in/swing-out hangers for transfers and pulling up to benches, or fixed hangers for the lightest and most active set-up. The VersaRail seat rail accepts both bolt-on mounts and mounting clamps and allows components to share placement, so seating, armrests, wheel locks and side guards can all be fitted without trading one off against another; the same rail takes sling upholstery or user-matched seating. Seat width 8–16" (grows to 18"), seat depth 8–18" (grows to 20"), front seat height 13–19", rear seat height 11–18.5", frame angle 80°, camber 0° or 3°.
