The Wonderseat SuperHigh Contour Cushion is paediatric wheelchair cushion designed to protect and maintain posture. A comfortable cushion with deep contouring and a supportive level of rigidity, it helps maintain long-term stability and pelvic alignment. The cushion can be used independently, without the full Wonderseat system (which includes a specific back support, medial thigh support and lateral trunk supports), making it a versatile option to pair with alternative Spex solutions, such as the Manta back support. Designed to be easily reconfigured over time, the cushion can be adjusted to match the user’s evolving postural needs – supporting changes in condition, positioning goals, or functional abilities, without needing a full replacement. Its immersive, adjustable ischial well, higher medial thigh support, and integrated pelvic positioning promote optimal lower limb alignment and support healthy hip development.

Designed for the user who would benefit from adaptable, structured support to protect and maintain posture over time; early postural intervention to promote optimal pelvic and hip alignment; a standalone cushion solution that can integrate with a range of seating systems; increased stability and reduced posterior pelvic tilt or sliding; and a comfortable high contour cushion with supportive rigidity that focuses on postural stability over pressure redistribution. A deep, adjustable ischial well encourages optimal pelvic positioning by immersing the ischial tuberosities in a structured well, minimising forward sliding even with pelvic obliquity. Customisable materials allow fine-tuning of immersion and support, with standard and alternative overlays including memory foam, gel and Supracor. Adaptable medial and lateral thigh contours accommodate individual positioning needs. Available in widths and depths from 10 by 10 inch up to 14 by 18 inch.
