A dual motor chair — back and legrest move on a linked mechanism rather than independently. That is the key prescribing distinction against the quad motor Studio and Seagrove: if the goal is to set hip and knee angles separately, the Ealing will not do it. Where that is not required, the dual motor action is simpler to operate and quieter. It does carry independent headrest positioning and power lumbar support, so spinal alignment can still be tuned above the hips, and it includes a footrest extension for users whose lower legs would otherwise hang unsupported — relevant to sitting tolerance and to heel loading in taller clients. Controlled by USB hand control on the side of the chair. The power lift raises the user to a near-standing position, supporting sit-to-stand transfers for those with lower limb weakness or balance impairment and reducing the need for carer assistance at transfer. Contoured cushioning over a high-density foam seat base distributes weight for clients at mild to moderate risk of skin breakdown. One standard size: 159 kg capacity, seat width 53.3 cm, seat depth 48.2 cm, seat-to-floor 49.5 cm, overall 78.7 cm wide × 101.6 cm deep × 106.6 cm high — the narrowest chair in the Theorem range, which makes it the one to consider where doorway or corridor width is the constraint.
