The dual-action mechanism gives infinite positioning with the backrest and legrest moving independently — so hip and knee angles can be set separately rather than on a linked arc, which is the distinction that matters where a prescription specifies an open hip angle with the legs elevated. A zero-gravity preset positions the knees above the heart with the trunk reclined, the position used to reduce load through the lumbar spine and to assist venous return in users with dependent oedema. Seat and backrest heating is built in. The feature worth flagging for home use is **all-day battery backup**: the chair can still be brought down from a reclined position during a power outage. For a user who cannot self-transfer out of a reclined chair, that is a safety consideration rather than a convenience one, and it is worth noting in a report where the client lives alone or in an area with unreliable supply. Control is a backlit USB hand control on the side of the chair — the backlight helps users with low vision or those repositioning at night. One standard size. One colourway: Canyon Ocean.
