Studio Comfort sits below Enhance+ in the range — a low-profile foam surface for clients at lower pressure risk, or where the requirement is a sound, durable clinical mattress rather than active therapy. Be deliberate about that positioning in a submission. A funding body will reasonably ask why a particular surface was chosen, and "the client is at low to moderate risk, can reposition independently, and has no history of breakdown" is a proper answer that a static surface satisfies. Over-specifying an active surface for a low-risk client is as much a prescribing error as under-specifying for a high-risk one — alternating surfaces are less stable to transfer from, can disturb sleep, need power, and add a maintenance burden. The low profile matters practically. Sleep surface height determines whether the client's feet reach the floor at the edge of the bed, which in turn determines whether a sit-to-stand from bed is safe and independent. A tall mattress on a standard frame is a common and avoidable cause of an unsafe transfer. Capacity is 200 kg. Where the client exceeds that, Studio Comfort Plus Bariatric is rated to 300 kg. Where risk is high, there is an existing wound, or the client cannot reposition without assistance, step up to Studio Enhance+ or to an active system such as AdaptAir.
