Designed for the individual who has complex postural needs such as kyphosis, scoliosis or hyperlordosis, significant spinal or trunk asymmetries, protruding skeletal prominences, risk of skin breakdown with pressure care requirements, a need for greater immersion into the back support for stability and comfort, or a need for torso pain reduction. The contouring of the cushioning applies intimate surface contact to contoured areas of the body. The padded moulding structure is a three-layered Spex cube contouring substrate, and the best result is achieved by creating areas of greater or lesser support through adjustment of the multiple-layered padded pocket cells. Two different densities of Spex cube cell provide stability and comfort where each is needed, so the SuperShape can adapt to changing needs while providing enough stability for complex and asymmetric postures.
