Spex Constructa Flex Cushion

Because Every Body is Different Every wheelchair user is different, with their own individual needs and this own unique set of challenges. A solid foundation is the base for a stable posture, requiring a cushion to support the user’s pelvis for their unique physical requirements. Which is exactly what the Constructa cushion does.

From the manufacturer

Constructa cushions match the body's contours through adjustments aligned with anatomy. The entire cushion is designed to manage pressure: invertible positioning blocks provide the foundation for a supportive yet immersive cushion, while the ischial well blends without any firm edges. The Thigh and Trochanter Blocks use a dual-layer construction of medium and firm foams, and can be inverted with the firm grey foam uppermost to reduce immersion where more support is needed. The Flex is the deeper of the two Constructa cushions — 12cm high on 14 and 16 inch widths and 13cm on 18 and 20 inch — giving greater contour and immersion than the lower-profile Constructa Shape. Weight capacity is 90kg on 14 and 16 inch widths and 136kg on 18 and 20 inch. Product weight 2.0kg based on a 16 by 16 inch cushion.

We aim to make our range as accessible as possible. Some products may not be available in all areas — please contact BMS Plus to confirm availability and discuss suitable options.
