Designed for the user who has moderate to severe positioning and pressure requirements. An excellent choice for individuals with changing postural needs over time, a symmetrical or asymmetrical sitting posture requiring correction or control, who need pelvic comfort and pressure relief, a high degree of pelvic stability and specific contouring, or who have tight hamstrings and lack of hip flexion. Removable trochanter supports allow pelvic obliquity reduction or build-up for hip flexion. A gel-foam ischial well evenly distributes pressure under the pelvis and reduces shear forces in sensitive areas, with a coccyx channel for enhanced pressure relief on sizes 16 inch and above. Because adjustment is made at the base of the cushion through the in-built adjustable cell system, the upper foam layers are unaffected and do not cause bottoming out. Configurations can redistribute pressure from the ischial tuberosities and coccyx onto the trochanters and femurs for enhanced load bearing and stability, and each leg can be treated independently. Obliquity is built up using 10mm pads. Trough height 30mm; product weight 1.5kg based on a 16 by 16 inch cushion. Supplied with a washable spacer fabric cover and inner incontinence cover. No maintenance required.
