A two-pad system: a single curved sub-occipital pad that supports under the occiput and against the proximal lateral cervical spine, plus an occipital pad above it. What distinguishes the single sub-occipital system is that the occipital pad moves anterior/posterior independently of the sub-occipital pad — so the amount of support under the skull base and the amount behind the head can be set separately rather than as one fixed shape. Supporting under the occiput rather than only behind it is what allows the head to be held in a neutral position without pushing it forward into flexion, which is the common failure of a simple posterior pad on a client with poor cervical control. Size combinations: 10" PLUSH Occipital with Adult Single Sub-Occipital, Adult Occipital with Adult Single Sub-Occipital, Adult Occipital with Paediatric Single Sub-Occipital, and Paediatric Occipital with Paediatric Single Sub-Occipital — so the two pads can be mixed across sizes to fit an individual. Lateral facial pads (unilateral or bilateral, in Spot, Standard, Long, Oval, Large-C, Medium-C, Small-C and FS0-8), switches and anterior supports (Dynamic Forehead Strap, DFS2, Strap Cap, Static Forehead Strap) can all be added. Covers: Lycra, Fleece or Dartex Reversed. Six mounting hardware options from Axys through to Cobra Xtra Flip Back.
