The most aggressive head positioning system Whitmyer make, intended for the presentations that defeat everything else. The patented three-pad arrangement uses two sub-occipital pads — each adjustable independently for width and rotation — together with an occipital pad that moves anterior/posterior on its own. The independent adjustability of the two sub-occipital pads is the clinically important part: it means an asymmetrical posture can be accommodated rather than forced to midline, with each side of the skull base supported at the width and angle it actually presents at. Combined with the separately adjustable occipital pad, the system achieves maximum support surface contact and maximum occipital and proximal lateral cervical support. Lateral facial pads (unilateral or bilateral, in Spot, Standard, Long, Oval, Large-C, Medium-C, Small-C and FS0-8), switches and anterior supports (Dynamic Forehead Strap, DFS2, Strap Cap, Static Forehead Strap) can be added on top. Covers: Lycra (durable, water-resistant, four-way stretch), Fleece (washable natural lambswool), or Dartex Reversed (anti-allergenic, waterproof, two-way stretch). Six mounting hardware options — Axys, Onyx, Linx, Linx2, Pro and Cobra Xtra Flip Back.
