The Nitrum Hybrid enhances Quickie's lightest adjustable aluminium chair with a powerful frame design offering extraordinary stability and a higher user weight capacity of 136kg. Raised lower tubes minimise pack size and improve transportability. The ultra-stiff frame delivers a rigid ride, and like all Nitrum wheelchairs it is aimed at users who value pushing efficiency and lightweight design — a design that minimises propulsion effort while maximising movement. Rather than multiple welded parts, the castor-link is a single hollow-forged component: stronger, lighter and fully adjustable, with castor angle and height changeable while the user remains seated to improve handling. Castor link length and angle are tailored to the individual wheelchair for handling, turning and propulsion efficiency. Integrated LEDs mount on both castor arms with three modes (high, low and blink); the power pack runs up to 4 hours and detaches for recharging or to save 110 grams. Seat width 320 to 500mm; seat depth 340 to 500mm; front seat height 430 to 570mm; rear seat height 370 to 500mm; backrest height 250 to 450mm; back recline minus 17.5 to 10 degrees. Total weight 8.4kg. Maximum user weight 136kg.
