The heavy-duty mid-wheel base, rated to 204 kg. Mid-Wheel 6 design keeps six wheels on the ground for maximum stability, and ATX suspension (Active-Trac 3 with extra stability) incorporates a front OMNI-Caster beam for performance across varied terrain. The OMNI-Casters themselves are nylon and spherical rather than conventional castor wheels, which reduces the impact transmitted through the frame when crossing thresholds. Despite the capacity, the turning radius is 50 cm (19.7") — the tightest of any base in the Quantum range, heavy-duty or otherwise, which makes it a realistic option where a bariatric user still needs to manoeuvre indoors. Q-Logic 3 drive controls standard, and the base accepts advanced seating and electronics plus optional iLevel giving 25.4 cm (10") of combined lift and tilt. Crash tested to ISO 7176-19 in all configurations. Maximum speed 7.6 km/h, 5.6 km/h in iLevel. Overall length 90.4 cm, base width 66.5 cm, ground clearance 7.6 cm at the battery tray. 14" pneumatic or 14 × 4" wide flat-free drive tyres on 15.2 cm (6") solid front and rear castors.
