The heavy-duty 4Front, rated to 204 kg (450 lb). It keeps the front-wheel drive geometry of the standard 4Front 2 — drive wheels ahead of the user for climbing ability into kerbs and ramps — with high-torque 4-pole motors and more robust castor arms to carry the load. Smart Traction Control (STC) manages wheel slip and Smooth Ride Suspension (SRS) keeps the ride stable over obstacles under heavy load, which is where lesser heavy-duty bases tend to bottom out. Speed is capped lower than the standard model at 8 km/h (4.3 km/h with the optional 25.4 cm / 10" seat elevation raised) — worth setting expectations on if the user is moving up from a 4Front 2. Q-Logic 3 drive controls, LED front and rear fender lights and quiet ride technology are standard. Crash tested to ISO 7176-19 in all configurations. Turning radius 65.7 cm (26"), overall length 101 cm, base width 60.9 cm — the same footprint as the standard 4Front 2 despite the extra capacity. Ground clearance 7.6 cm at the battery tray. Rear castors 22.8 cm (9") solid.
