The Libra sits at the top of the Matrx cushion range for skin protection and adjustability, and is the one Invacare recommends for users at the highest risk of breakdown. It is contoured to balance and stabilise the pelvis, which is what allows the rest of the postural set-up above it to hold. The Fit Kit is what separates it from a fixed-shape cushion: fluid supplement, abductor, tapered wedge, single-piece lateral wedge, single-piece hemi wedge, two-piece seat wedges and right-forward/right-rear and right-forward/left-rear combinations, all intended to increase immersion, correct a correctable deformity or accommodate a fixed one. Covers are Startex, Spacer Mesh or a wipeable Infection Control option for shared or high-soiling environments. A Pelvic Obliquity Kit accommodates a 0.5" or 1" obliquity. A cushion rigidiser — a lightweight plastic insert fitted inside the cover beneath the foam, spanning the seat rails — removes the hammock effect of sling upholstery, and a drop base gives a stable support platform in three sizes fitting chairs 14"–22" wide. Custom modifications cover width and depth reductions and leg length discrepancy on extended lead time. Standard widths 14"–20" in depths 16"–22" (12" and 14" depths on 14" widths only); heavy-duty widths 21"–24" in depths 18", 20", 22".
