The heavy-duty range covers both the Elite Heavy-Duty Back (3" contour depth) and the Elite Deep Heavy-Duty Back (6" contour depth). The Deep version carries integrated lateral supports that give trunk control while still clearing the shoulders and hips, so upper-limb function is not restricted by the back itself. Heavy-Duty Easy Set hardware is standard across the range, rated to 227 kg and recommended where the user has high tone or the chair will see heavy use. Fixed Space Saver hardware is the option — also 227 kg rated, permanently mounted and tool-removed, recommended for power tilt/recline or where width is tight; it can be installed on the Invacare Formula CG Tilt/Recline and Motion Concepts TRx power positioning systems. Elite Heavy-Duty widths 21"–24" in 16" or 20" heights; Elite Deep Heavy-Duty widths 21"–24" in 16", 18" or 20" heights. Despite the load rating the shells remain lightweight, which matters where a heavy-duty user is still self-propelling.
