Ripple Foam is the defining feature: the foam surface is rippled rather than flat, which increases airflow across the back for breathability, temperature control and moisture reduction, while the high-resilience base provides immersion and shear reduction. The shell is contoured to support the pelvis and clear the hips, which increases stability and balance without blocking hip movement. The shell also carries cutouts for airflow, vertical slots for hardware attachment, a coccyx notch, and is pre-drilled for PostureFlex abdominal support. The Meshtex outer cover is moisture-resistant and breathable, and the foam and cover overlap the shell for edge protection. Mounting is via an adjustable pin assembly, height and width adjustable, fitting chairs the same width as the model or 1" wider or narrower. Back height can be adjusted with the user still seated, and the hardware can be repositioned to avoid frame obstacles such as arm supports and rigidiser bars. MiniSet interface is standard on back heights up to 16"; EasySet is standard on 18"–20" heights. Available in two contour depths — E2 Standard at 3" and E2 Deep. Widths 14"–20", heights 6"–20".
