This stability means you're generating greater movement of your wheelchair with less effort, all in 690 grams! Carbon is lightweight and strong, therefore the ideal material for this backrest. Offering the same strength as aluminium (but 60% lighter), the J3 Carbon back reduces the weight that a wheelchair user has to push, day-by-day. A low thoracic back weights just 690grams! You will feel the difference! The "fixed" system offers rigid wheelchair options a mounting option that is extremely lightweight. Alternatively, the "quick release" system allows the backrest to be easily removed, ideal for folding chairs. Regardless of choice, both mounting systems are designed with easy to handle 2pt mounting system offering adjsutment in angle, depth, width and height.

A low thoracic back weighs just 690 grams. Four back heights from 17 to 38cm focus on the active user with a need for low to moderate posterior trunk support, with mild lateral trunk support provided by the 5cm contour depth. Mounting options suit both rigid and folding frames: the fixed system offers rigid wheelchairs an extremely lightweight mounting option, while the quick-release system allows the backrest to be easily removed, suiting folding chairs. Both mounting systems use an easy-to-handle 2-point design offering adjustment in angle, depth, width and height. An accessory bag is available to store easily misplaced items and cover the gap between back and cushion. Widths 14, 16, 18 and 20 inches; heights 6.5, 8, 9.5, 12, 13.5 and 15 inches; depth 2 inches. Maximum user weight 125kg.
