The GS incorporates a highly durable, stable foam base and JAY's fluid insert technology with the ability to grow with the client while maintaining proper support, making it suited to growing children and young adults. It features a large well cutout that allows the user to sit at the front of the cushion to start; as they grow, a shelf extension can be added to increase the front length and provide support for longer leg lengths. The contoured closed cell foam base requires zero maintenance, is highly durable and can be modified in the field, while contracture cutouts help protect the lower extremities. An extensive selection of 2 inch and 3 inch positioning components is available, including lateral pelvic supports, lateral thigh supports, medial thigh supports and additional shelf extensions, ordered pre-installed or added later; the foam base is topped with loop-side Velcro so components can be moved and rearranged as the child grows. The zero-maintenance JAY Flow fluid insert conforms to the individual's shape and ensures placement beneath bony prominences, with an oversized design that accommodates the base as it adapts. The machine-washable stretch outer cover uses Ionic+ fibre to inhibit bacterial growth, with a 3DX spacer fabric layer promoting airflow and a waterfall seam reducing skin irritation at the front. Widths 10 to 18 inches, depths 10 to 20 inches, height 2.5 inches without positioning components. Total weight 3kg. Maximum user weight 150kg.
