The Aquatec Ocean Dual VIP Ergo is a transit 18" modular tilt-in-space shower chair commode designed to suit a wide range of individuals and their postural needs. This model benefits from a −5° to 40° seat tilt angle and has an additional backrest recline of 5° to 35° for those with more complex seating and positioning requirements.

The Dual VIP adds independent backrest recline of 5° to 35° on top of the −5° to 40° seat tilt, so seat angle and hip angle can be set separately — the configuration to reach for where a fixed seat-to-back angle will not accommodate the presentation. The tilt uses a pivot-and-slide mechanism: as the chair tilts it also moves down and forward, keeping the user's centre of gravity close to the chair's. That makes the tilt lighter and more intuitive for the carer, smoother for the user, and keeps the footprint small without losing stability, including at maximum tilt. The seat plate is contoured from the imprints seated users leave and is tilted so the knees lift into a natural squat position for toileting, with transfer supports at the front. Corrosion-free stainless steel frame, machine washable tension-adjustable backrest, and independently adjustable armrest, footrest and seat heights. Seat height 475–600 mm, seat 480 × 480 mm, total width 565 mm, total depth 1000 mm, unit weight 28.3 kg. Fully modular, accepting the Ocean Ergo positioning, safety, toileting and seating accessory range.
