The value-engineered four-point harness in the Bodypoint range — traditional H-style geometry, aimed at strong shoulder positioning for improved head and trunk control where budget is a constraint. Bodypoint states it is tested to the same standards as the rest of the range and carries the same limited lifetime warranty. The pads are non-stretch closed-cell foam, chosen for resilience and pressure distribution rather than give, so this is a static support rather than a dynamic one. The outer layer is CORDURA fabric with a proprietary edge binding that eliminates wrinkles — relevant to skin integrity where the harness sits against the chest for long periods — and adds durability and dirt resistance. The sternum strap is adjustable with a side-release buckle and a folded end stop that is easy to grip. A D-ring pivot point at the lower strap allows the strap angle to change without compromising fit, and the pad contours are shaped to stay comfortable over the lower ribs and avoid puckering as that angle changes. Top straps are rear-pull with folded end stops in a teal accent for easy identification during adjustment. Four high-strength plastic Flat-Mount end fittings are included, reinforced with embedded stainless steel washers; Cam Buckles and Cinch-Mount fittings are available separately. Sizes Small through Extra Large. A hip belt or other pelvic support must also be worn whenever an anterior trunk support is used, to prevent sliding.
