**A four-motor chair — that is the specification that matters.** Headrest, back, leg rest and lumbar all drive independently, so the user reaches a genuinely custom position rather than one fixed recline arc. Why independence matters clinically: on a single- or dual-motor chair the back and legs move together on a set path. For a client with a fixed hip angle, a flexion contracture, or oedema requiring the legs above heart height, that path either fits or it doesn't. Four motors let you set each segment to the body rather than the body to the chair. **Integrated lift function** raises and tilts the seat to assist sit-to-stand. Set the lift so it brings the client to standing height without tipping them forward off the front edge — an over-set lift converts an assist into a push. **ARTG 216484.** Tested to **ISO 13934-1** and **ISO 13937-1** (fabric tensile and tear strength) and **BS 6807** and **BS 7175** — the British ignition-resistance standards for beds and bedding. Flammability certification is often a procurement requirement in residential aged care, so it is worth having the numbers to hand. **Independent lumbar support** is the feature most often missing at this price. Lumbar fill maintains the lordosis when reclined; without it the pelvis rolls back and the client ends up in sacral sitting, which loads the sacrum precisely where pressure injuries occur. Dimensions: overall height **1050 mm**, overall width **870 mm**, seat width **530 mm**, seat depth **500 mm**, back height **630 mm**. Seat depth is the fitting measurement to check — too deep and the client cannot get their back to the backrest without their feet leaving the floor.
