200kg
The Salsa 200 was designed as an active standing aid which allows a single carer to raise a patient into a comfortable standing position. The Salsa is ideal for transferring between bed and chair, or chair and commode. Allied with the Salsa, our generously padded slings allow easy transfers whilst still providing superior access to client to remove clothing for toiletry purposes.

**An active standing lifter, not a passive hoist.** The distinction is the single most important thing to get right here: this device requires the client to bear weight through their legs and hold the lift arms. A client who cannot do both needs a passive sling hoist instead. Specifying a standing lifter for a fully dependent client is the most common and most dangerous hoist prescribing error. Where the client *can* participate, a standing lifter is the better choice — it maintains weight-bearing, is faster for a single carer, and allows toileting and clothing management that a sling hoist does not. **ARTG 136065.** Tested to **AS ISO 10535:2002**. Australian made. Adjustment relevant at assessment: - **Contoured knee pad adjusts for both height and angle**, with a removable calf strap. Getting knee pad height right is what prevents the client sliding down during the lift - **Lift arms allow multiple grip positions**, so grip can be matched to shoulder range and hand function rather than forcing one position - **Removable footplate** — taken off, the client can step, which supports transfers where some gait remains **Safe working load 200 kg**, unit weight 51 kg. Supplied with battery pack and charger.
