**Self-propelled**, so the user drives it themselves. That independence is the whole point — it means showering and toileting without a carer present, which for many clients is the single biggest dignity issue in their day. If the user cannot push the wheels, specify the attendant-propelled version instead; a self-propelling chair pushed by a carer is just heavier and wider than it needs to be. **Patented TEARSAFE design with no protrusions.** This addresses a specific and underappreciated risk: skin tears from catching a limb on a frame edge during transfer. In a wet area, with fragile skin and a client being moved sideways, protruding bolts and brackets cause real injuries. **Full stainless steel frame** throughout, including the castors and pan rack guides, for durability in constant wet use.
